Project Brief
This project was commissioned by an Amazon seller who required a large set of photorealistic interior visuals to showcase rugs in diverse living environments. Since the final rug designs had not yet been confirmed, placeholder patterns were used. To ensure consistency and efficiency, the environments were designed as fixed, modular scenes where only the rugs could be swapped. This approach made it possible to rapidly produce versatile, commercial-ready variations without rebuilding the entire setup, directly supporting online sales.
Photorealistic modular scenes for showcasing rugs.
Process
As part of the workflow, mask outputs from the 3D software were generated to isolate the rugs as independent elements. This allowed quick replacement or overlay of new rug designs in Photoshop, while keeping the rest of the scene intact and untouched.
Outcome
The project delivered a collection of modular interior scenes designed to adapt to multiple rug variations. By using placeholder rugs within fixed environments, the workflow ensured both efficiency and consistency. These visualizations not only demonstrated scalability but also supported the client in previewing and planning product listings before final rug designs were confirmed.
